Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer shall be responsible for coordination of drawings and designs, execution of civil works strictly as per approved plans, and direct supervision of labour to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of the project.

• Key Responsibilities1. Drawing & Design CoordinationCoordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP teams to obtain latest approved drawings.
• Ensure revision control, distribution, and availability of drawings at site.
• Identify and report discrepancies, clashes, or constructability issues before execution.
• Ensure no work is executed without written approval of drawings.
• 2. Execution & Site ManagementExecute all civil works in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and method statements.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure work quality, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines.
• Prevent deviations and ensure approvals are obtained for any design or scope changes.
• 3. Labour SupervisionPlan, deploy, and supervise direct labour including masons, carpenters, bar benders, and helpers.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity, and maintain discipline at site.
• Ensure efficient manpower utilization and control material wastage.
• 4. Quality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure quality of workmanship through regular inspections and checks.
• Enforce safety practices and compliance with statutory and company safety norms.
• Ensure proper testing, curing, and execution standards are followed.
• 5. Reporting & CoordinationMaintain daily progress reports, labour attendance, and site records.
• Coordinate with stores, procurement, and planning teams for timely material availability.
• Report progress, delays, and site issues to the Project Manager.
• Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering.
• 2–8 years of relevant site execution experience (project-specific).
• Strong understanding of drawings, execution methodology, and labour handling.
