Civil Engineer

At KONNBOT, we specialize in the high-end construction of private villas and bungalows. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Civil Engineer who can act as the vital link between design, procurement, and execution.

This role requires more than technical knowledge; it demands exceptional communication to ensure that the luxury standards of our residential projects are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

1.Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting

• Client Management: Act as the primary on-site point of contact. Provide daily 
• Morning Updates (objectives for the day) and Evening Updates (progress reports, hurdles, and photos).
• Design Liaison: Coordinate directly with the Structural Designer and Architect to clarify design intent and resolve on-site discrepancies immediately.
• Regulatory Compliance: Interface with Municipal authorities or consultants to ensure the project adheres to local building codes and permit requirements.

2. Technical Execution & Labor Management

• On-Site Supervision: Ensure the highest quality of workmanship, specifically focusing on the finishing details required for luxury bungalows.
• Drawing Interpretation: Translate complex architectural and structural blueprints into actionable instructions for labor and site supervisors.
• Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee the schedules and performance of specialized sub-contractors (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).

3. Material & Financial Control

• Vendor Management: Coordinate with material vendors for deliveries, quality checks upon arrival, and inventory management.
• Quantity Surveying: Perform accurate calculations for materials (cement, steel, finishing stone, etc.) to prevent wastage and ensure timely procurement.
• Billing Assistance: Support the project manager/founder in verifying contractor bills against actual work performed on-site.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 2–5 years in residential construction, preferably with experience in private villas or high-end bungalows.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Technical: Proficiency in reading structural drawings and AutoCAD. Strong command over MS Excel for material calculations.
• Soft Skills: High level of discipline in reporting, professional demeanor for client interactions, and the ability to manage diverse labor teams.
