Location: Pune or Bangalore, 

Level: 6

Who are we looking for?

A Cloud engineer specializing in cloud infra implementation and operations. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in IT Industry with track record as Azure Cloud SME
• Implementing and maintaining Azure cloud resources including related automation, notifications, and reporting
• Identify and troubleshoot Azure cloud service issues and work with cloud service providers to efficiently solve issues or implement workarounds
• Understanding and Practical exposure of Azure AD Connect/Azure AD and Building Active Directory, MFA
• Managing Azure Compute (build, maintain, decommission of VMs)
• Managing Azure Storage (build, maintain, decommission of Storage account)
• Managing Azure Backups (Build, maintain, decommission of Recovery vaults)
• Knowledge in restoring VMs from Azure backups
• Managing Azure Network Security Groups to secure the environment (Add/Removal/Manage Rules)
• Managing Azure PAAS Services (Build, maintain, decommission of Azure DB, Azure Active Directory Domain Service)
• Azure managed SQL DB Administration (PAAS Instances)
• Proven knowledge of anyone scripting technologies (Terraform/ PowerShell/ARM)
• Managing Azure Automations (Adding Runbooks and using update manager to perform patching)
• Managing Azure Monitor and logs (Add/Removal of s and actions)
• Migrating environment from Azure classic to Azure ARM.
• Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Azure Application and Networking Services to support growth into the cloud.
• Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
• knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling (CICD and Docker.)
• Ability to creates, contributes, and implement best practices in Cloud Operations.

Process Skills:

• Should have led at least 2-3 migration projects as Azure Lead.
• The ability to multi-task and work across a range of projects and issues with various timelines and priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Very detail-oriented in planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up
• The ability to work completely independently / with a team.
• Reliable, on-time and customer-focused.
• Respond to system outages to resolve problems as per the defined SLAs.
• Interact with technical personnel and other teams as required.
• Understanding of ITIL process.

Behavioral Skills:

• Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills.

Education:

B. E / B. Tech in Electronics/Telecommunications computer science or equivalent degree in IT related field.

Certification:

• MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect) or MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure)
• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
