Commis Chef 3

Job Summary : The Commis 3 Chef is an entry-level kitchen role responsible for assisting in basic food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the kitchen team in daily operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their culinary career in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist senior chef in food preparation (cutting, chopping, marinating, plating support)
• Follow recipes and instructions as provided by senior kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
• Support in stock handling, storage, and FIFO practices
• Ensure food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are followed at all times
• Assist during service hours as required
• Handle basic kitchen equipment safely
• Perform opening and closing kitchen duties
• Support in minimizing wastage and maintaining quality consistency

Skills & Requirements:

Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling

• Willingness to learn and take instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Physically fit to stand for long hours
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices
• Culinary training or hotel management background is a plus (not mandatory)

Experience : Fresher or up to 1 year of kitchen experience

• Prior experience in cafés, cloud kitchens, or restaurants preferred
