Job Profile:

 

KGS Finance Transformation (FT) team collaborates with KPMG member firms (KPMG US, KPMG UK and others) to support on global finance transformation engagements and assist clients in making their finance function more efficient, effective and aligned to the organization’s business strategy. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work with leading global corporate institutions and advise them on their core finance processes within key areas such as:

 

  • Finance & Accounting ProcessOptimization
  • Digital Finance (BlackLine, Trintech, Aptitude, OneStream, Anaplan, etc.)
  • Technology/ ERP Enabled Finance 
  • Enterprise Performance Management/ FP&A
  • Global Business Services / Transitions

 

Some of the specific responsibilities include creating client ready deliverables, contributing to proposals and other Business Development effort, updating/ managing project plans, and managing stakeholder relationships by driving things on the ground independently while working closely with the Engagement Lead.

 

  Overseas travel may be involved.

Desired Skills:

 

  • Experience in any of the below
    • Finance/business transformation projects across the phases from assessment, designthrough to implementation and benefits realization.
    • Current state assessment and Target Operating Model design for Finance processes encompassing Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, management and statutory reporting etc.
    • Functional consulting role in implementations of F&A solutions such as BlackLine, Trintech Cadency, Oracle ARCS, Oracle PCMCS, Aptitude, HighRadius, etc.
    • Functional consulting role in implementations of EPM solutions such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle PBCS/ EPBCS, SAP BPC, etc.
    • Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting and forecasting function, with ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions 
    • Strong functional understanding and exposure to leading ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics)
    • Industry recognized certifications in the above mentioned (but not limited to) solutions
    • Transitioning F&A operations and setting up shared service centers (from business case development to implementation)
  • Understanding of regulatory changes like ASC 606, ASC 842, IFRS 17 will be an added advantage
  • Experience of working with Banking/ Asset Management/ Insurance sector clients will be an added advantage
  • Self-starting, pro-active team player with an abilityto work in challenging environments across industries/sectors
  • Experience of producing thoughtful work products/deliverables independently with minimal instructions
  • Experience in contributing to business development through RFP/ bid responses/ proposals
  • Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills to clearlyarticulate the businesschallenges and explain proposed solutions.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with projectteams
  • Strong analytical / MS Excelskills and Presentation/ PowerPoint skills

 

Experience:

 

  • KGS Consulting Team is currentlyseeking experienced consultants at multiple levels (Consultant to Assistant Manager) withrelevant experience between 3-10 years. Relevant work experience will be considered based on the interview process.

Qualification:

 

  • Candidate should have an MBA from recognized Tier-1 B-School or Professional qualification such as: CPA / CA / ICWA / CMA / CIMA / ACCA etc. along with 3-10 years of relevant work experience (Preferably from Big 4 or other consulting firms)
