Roles & Responsibilities: Data Conversion Consultant

• Responsible for client deliverables of medium-high complexity work with quality check, learning and understanding the client's requirements
• Understand Client's requirements, Design and deliver future-ready Workday solutions to help Clients to optimize their Finance/HCM functions and enhance their employee experiences
• Data Conversion using Customer Central, EIB, iLoad, Object Transporter and Advanced Load
• Data Validation and Unit Testing
• Support End to End Testing, Migration and Hypercare
• Support quality control activities and evaluate data within Workday to ensure consistency, accuracy, security, and data integrity
•  Assist on continue process improvement projects to enhance speed, automation, data accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests for internal and/or external customers to ensure alignment of programs and initiatives.
• Provide Target Application Mapping Template, Write Conversion Code, Load and analyze Data.

• Analyze data and apply critical thinking on data mining and reporting requests. Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to more complex data analysis.

   

Certifications

• Workday HCM Core or Financials Core (Required)
• Workday HCM /Financials Practical - Iload (Required)

• Workday Specialization Certification is an added advantage

   

Experience & Background 

• Qualification should be BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA/MCA.
• 4-6 years of experience in IT
• Should have experience in at least 1 complete project lifecycle in a data conversion role.
• Professional Experience of at least 2 years as Workday Conversion Consultant/developer

 

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience in implementing configuring and supporting Workday HCM for global rollouts. 

•    Experience using Workday Advanced Load/ EIB/OX 1.0/ OX 2.0 Cloud Loader for Data Conversion 

•    Experience in creating the migration recipes and configuration package using Customer Central

•    Experience in resolving technical issues in the conversion process

•    Experience in loading the worker data for various workstreams

•    Experience in MS Excel/Access/Macros are added advantage

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Workday Conversion tools BI/ETL Tool Knowledge 

•     Assist customers with data extraction, defining the data requirements, and working on validating and correcting the data coming from their legacy systems and prepare for the data conversion cycle.

•    Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level.

•    Ability to manage a build with minimum support from the lead

• Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills and an ability to handle sensitive compensation information
