Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your typical day involves developing custom software solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices, you will focus on delivering scalable and high-performing solutions that align with the objectives of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Hands-on expertise with DBT for data modelling and transformation in cloud environments.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services relevant to ETL and data warehousing (e.g., Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift).
- Strong proficiency in UNIX shell scripting, Python, and SQL for development, automation and orchestration.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to SLAs.
- Support data migration initiatives, including legacy system transitions and cloud enablement strategies.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to data governance and compliance efforts.
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Good To Have Skills: Familiarity with cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
experience in application development using modern programming languages.
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management.
