Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into effective software designs, while also ensuring that the solutions are robust and efficient.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- In-depth CI/CD expertise: Jenkins, GitLab for zero-downtime deployments
- Hands-on containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, container registries, orchestration (Swarm/K8s)
- Expert-level scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET for Infrastructure as Code automation
- Hands-on configuration management: Chef, Ansible, or equivalent automation frameworks
- Advanced Git proficiency with large repositories and branching strategies
- In-depth OS knowledge: Windows and Red Hat Linux for DevOps tooling and CI/CD
- 7+ years hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise environments with large-scale applications
- Working knowledge of build tools: Maven, Gradle, Ant, NPM, Make, or Rake
- Hands-on integration testing: Troubleshoot connectivity across full application stack
- Practical experience with code quality/security: SonarQube, Veracode, or similar tools
- Hands-on search integration: ElasticSearch implementation experience
- Working knowledge: Enterprise and cyber security domains
- Hands-on AWS experience: IAM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager
- Practical serverless experience: API Gateway + Lambda deployments
- Working knowledge of AWS networking: ALB, NLB configuration
- Familiarity with Atlassian suite: Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket
- Working knowledge of ITSM: ServiceNow
- Hands-on test automation: JUnit, Selenium, TDD practices
- Exposure to cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
