Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

Summary:
As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also contributing to the overall success of the organization through effective database management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures.
- Monitor database performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aveva OSIsoft PI.
- Strong understanding of database management systems and their architecture.
- Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of databases.
- Knowledge of data security practices and compliance requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Aveva OSIsoft PI.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
