Deputy Manager Accounts & Finance MIS Role: Dy. Manager – Accounts & Finance (MIS)

Location: Pune

Reporting to: DGM-Finance & Accounts (India)

Job Summary

Chartered Accountant (CA) or Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) with minimum 4–5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, specializing in financial reporting, budgeting, MIS, and SAP (FI/CO) operations. Skilled in preparing Ind AS-compliant financials, managing audits, and delivering actionable insights through variance analysis and BI dashboards. Proficient in working capital management, cost monitoring, and financial planning. Strong track record in process improvements, internal controls, and supporting strategic decisions through accurate, timely reporting.


Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & MIS to prepare accurate and timely periodical financial reports on a standalone and consolidated basis.

Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly MIS reports covering operations, finance, production & inventory.

Preparation of monthly presentations for senior management reviews. o Conduct variance analysis of Budget vs Actual (monthly and YTD) and identify key drivers of variances along with actionable insights.

Develop dashboards for leadership using Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools.

Month-End Closing & SAP Operations

Oversee month-end closing activities in SAP for Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Cash Management.

Ensure Revenue Recognition

Oversee the provisions working monthly.

Reconcile Related Party transactions every month.

Perform General Ledger scrutiny every month.


3. Annual Financial Accounts & Audit Support


Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements (Standalone and consolidated) in compliance with Ind AS.

Coordination with Statutory auditors during quarterly and annual financial audits by providing necessary reports, reconciliations, and schedules.

Coordinate and support on Internal and Tax Audit processes by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.

Support internal controls and compliance framework. o Ensure adherence to financial reporting timelines, including quarterly and annual results submission to management, regulators, and the Board as applicable. o Assist in preparation and validation of financial data required for regulatory compliance, including financial disclosures and audit committee presentations. 4. Cost Center Reporting & Cost Monitoring o Prepare a Cost Center Report showing cost for each function. o Conduct variance analysis for Budget vs Actual and identify the areas for improvement. o Monitor and control capital expenditure and project cost allocations. 5. Budgeting & Forecasting o Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget (standalone and consolidated) including departmental budgeting and CAPEX projections, o Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasts. o Support financial planning initiatives in coordination with business teams. 6. Working Capital & Reconciliations o Manage working capital effectively through regular follow-up with sales and procurement teams for timely collections and payments. o Ensure timely reconciliation of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables, including obtaining and reviewing balance confirmations. o Review customer credits as per the Company policies and complete the credit rating exercise for new customers. 7. System & Process Improvement o Support development and implementation of new financial systems, procedures, and internal controls. o Assist in designing and executing internal audit programs and process reviews. o Ensure robust data controls and validation logics. o Implement process automation and data visualization. 8. Project Management o Handle financial aspects of special projects independently at the plant and head office level. Qualifications & Experience ● Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Charter Financial Analyst (CFA) with strong analytical foundation.
