Deputy Manager Learning and Development

Description

Job Purpose:

To drive the Learning & Development strategy with an aim to equip employees across all levels to meet the ever-evolving complex business objectives. This would include, driving leadership development learning interventions, capability build and functional development programs, learning across all modalities & campus learning by identifying the appropriate learning solutions and designing interventions with the use a variety of learning methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools.

Principle Accountability:

  • Engage with functional leaders and other business stakeholders to understand learning needs and translate the same into learning solutions with a mix of learning modalities
  • Partner with HRBP team to effectively deliver learning experiences with an aim of upskilling & reskilling as per the organization’s learning & development strategy
  • Manage capability build interventions for employees across all levels with the focused and structured programs (class room and other mediums) that incorporates overall business objective and ensures business outcomes aligned to the strategy of the organization
  • Curate and create instructional content, for impactful training content. Drive learning (digital and classroom) across all employee base of 9000+ employees.
  • Drive Campus to Corporate learning strategy for Campus Hires which includes pre-boarding, onboarding, mentorship, check-ins, final reviews and learning engagement across the year
  • Collaborate with renowned learning institutes (like IIMs, ISB and more) to design the learning interventions for selective cohorts.
  • Understanding of learning technology and experience in driving learning through digital learning mediums (LXPs/LMS)
  • Evaluate current trends in learning and assimilate relevant best practices into the learning strategy for maximum impact to employee experience.

Skills Required

• MBA (HR) or a master’s degree in psychology • Minimum 5-6 years of overall experience in learning, talent management domain • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and effectively manage multiple projects and high-quality execution focus. • Understanding of instructional design principles and experience in applying adult learning methodologies • A critical thinker with strong collaboration and influencing skills • Familiarity of technology and use technology platforms in learning and communication. •
