About the Team:

The Electrified Powertrain Technology division bundles the competencies for the increasing electrification of the powertrain in the passenger car driveline sector. As a technology leader, ZF will further expand its leading position and offer all desired solutions for the driveline with a comprehensive portfolio.

 

What you can look forward to as Deputy Manager – Material Management (Buyer):

• Inbound Logistics,
  • Proper management of inward of material with good practices
  • Vendors – Vehicles, returnable Bin management
  • Overall transportation management related to Inbound Logistics
• Vendor Management
  • Scheduling of RM through proper MRP working
  • Prepare & manage the Purchase orders
  • Maintain the stocks of RM within Min Max levels
  • Ensure No Line stoppage due to material shortage
  • Evaluate & communicate Supplier performance
  • Proper management of  rejections
• Import Management
  • Scheduling of imported parts
  • Maintain proper safety stocks
  • Ensure ZERO Premium Freights
• Subcontractor Management
  • Proper stock reconciliation at subcontractors
  • Inventory accuracy of subcontracted parts.
  • Proper Challan / Invoices / Bills managements.

 

Your profile as Deputy Manager – Material Management (Buyer):

• Bachelor of Engineering /Post graduate degree preferred with 7-10 years of experience as a Buyer
• Experience or trained on – ERP system (SAP / Navision/ etc)
• Good communication, presentation, analytical skills and Negotiation skills
• Working in Automotive companies
• Knowledge of IATF 16949
