Project Role Description : Assess, design, and engineer DevOps solutions in complex technology environments. Design and build DevOps technical solutions for cloud-native, cloud-enabled, and on-prem infrastructure with microservices or traditional application patterns.
Must have skills : Elastic Stack (ELK)
Good to have skills : Java Enterprise Edition
Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ELK Administrator & Developer with 2–5 years of experience to manage, develop, and optimize ELK stack environments. The role involves administration of ELK components, dashboard and visualization development, alerting configuration, and troubleshooting log ingestion pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities:
ELK Administration
-Install, configure, and upgrade Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
-Manage cluster health, index lifecycle, and node performance.
-Configure and maintain Logstash pipelines for log ingestion.
-Perform routine health checks of ELK servers and components.
-Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of ELK infrastructure.
ELK Development
-Design and develop Kibana dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
-Create and manage saved searches, filters, and alerts.
-Develop custom queries in Elasticsearch DSL for log analysis.
-Implement role-based access control (RBAC) in Kibana.
Monitoring & Alerting
-Configure alerts for log ingestion failures, indexing errors, and cluster health issues.
-Integrate ELK alerts with external tools (Slack, Teams, Email, PagerDuty).
-Monitor system metrics, resource utilization, and log flow.
Troubleshooting & Support
-Investigate and resolve issues with log ingestion (Logstash pipelines, Beats, syslog).
-Analyze Elasticsearch and Logstash logs to identify root causes.
-Optimize queries and dashboards for performance.
Collaboration & Documentation
-Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
-Document ELK configurations, dashboards, and best practices.
-Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions for team members.


Professional & Technical Skills:

Additional Information:
Experience with Elastic Stack extensions (Beats, APM, Machine Learning).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Elastic Cloud.
Exposure to security monitoring and SIEM use cases.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
