Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems. The candidate should be capable of diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles/equipment operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacement, and lubrication

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues

Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and diagnostic equipment

Conduct engine overhauls and tune-ups when required

Maintain service records and job reports accurately

Ensure compliance with safety standards and workshop procedures

Test vehicles/equipment after repair to ensure proper functioning

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Diesel Mechanic or relevant technical qualification

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Diesel Mechanic

Good knowledge of diesel engines, transmission, braking, and electrical systems

Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Experience with heavy vehicles, generators, or construction equipment
