Director, Human Resources

Role Responsibilities


As strategic leader, you will partner with Regional HR Partners, HR Centers of Expertise, and executive leaders across the organization. You will develop and implement people strategies to deliver on business goals, aimed at driving a high performing, pay for performance, highly engaged culture.  You will facilitate people programs that optimize all relevant KPIs including cost. You will also –

  • Support VP-HRBP in all aspects aligning India people strategy with business goals and growth, tactically and strategically. Primary focus will be partnering with the business leaders focusing on talent in India, however the role will have exposure outside of India.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR Operations, regional HR Partners and HR Centers of Expertise to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Uses data to coach leaders and make informed decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to management inside and outside of India, focusing on Directors and above. Acts as a key member of the India Site Leadership Team to drive transformation projects across India.
  • Partner closely with the HR Operations team in APAC which focuses on the Sr Manager and below population. 

Role Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive HR Business Partner (or equivalent) experience, proficient in all areas of human resources, ideally in large, multinational corporations.
  • Must be a strategic leader with sound technical skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail with the appropriate balance of strategy and execution.
  • Understand how to support changes in our HR Operating Model and ensure HR support is being provided by the appropriate resources; has proven experience standing up employee self-service and manager self-service.
  • Display solid business and financial acumen; understands business operations.  Able to develop deep understanding of the business, industry trends, and external factors that may impact the organization and use this knowledge to develop proactive HR strategies.
  • Understands the latest technologies, software, and tools used in the industry. 
  • Have knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, trends, related laws, labor codes and other relevant HR regulations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with executive leadership and stakeholders across the company through relationship building and thought leadership. Proven ability to influence leaders to outcomes and navigate complex situations.
  • Shows strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to define and solve problems quickly, while maintaining focus on the bigger picture. 
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to package and present complex analysis and recommendations clearly and comfortably.
  • Expertise in leading change; ADKAR certification will be a strong plus.
  • This role may require domestic and/or international travel.

Work Shift
