Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

Sourcing 

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for electrical components (e.g., motors, sensors, PLC panels, cables, switchgear, relays, drives, etc.). 

Technical Evaluation

Coordinate with Design and Quality teams to finalise technical specifications, drawings, and quality plans for purchased components. Conduct techno-commercial comparisons.

Cost Optimisation

Analyse quotations, benchmark prices, and participate in cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

Vendor Management

Develop alternate sources, maintain supplier performance records (delivery, quality, responsiveness), and ensure supplier audits.

Documentation & Compliance

Ensure adherence to ISO documentation, maintain supplier technical data sheets, and update vendor master records in ERP.
