Educational Qualification:

• Diploma/Degree: Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

Professional Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Sales/Engineering/Project Industry
• Prior experience or exposure in Instrumentation and various Electrical Equipment like motors, panels, junction boxes, cables, etc.
• Experience in planning & execution of projects related to electrical and instrumentation systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Technical Proposal Engineer is responsible for preparing and developing technical and commercial proposals for clients. This role involves understanding client requirements, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the proposals align with company capabilities and industry standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality proposals within deadlines.

Analyze RFPs/RFQs and client specifications to develop customized technical proposals.

Prepare cost estimations, bid documentation, and compliance statements.

 Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost-effective solutions.

• Technical Order Processing:
• Process Instrumentation and Electrical equipment requirements (Motors, Panels, Junction Boxes, etc.) as per project orders and ensure accurate technical documentation.
• Customer Requirement Conversion:
• Convert customer requirements received via indents from TSS into necessary documents for customer submission.
• Documentation Preparation:
• Prepare and submit technical drawings and documents related to project instruments and electrical equipment, as required by customers or consultants.
• Document Expedite:
• Expedite submission of documents and obtain timely approvals from customers/consultants, updating submission schedules regularly.
• Review and Approval of Documents:
• Review and approve data sheets, General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and submit these for approval from clients/consultants.
• Part List Review:
• Review and verify the aggregate part list for instrumentation and electrical equipment, aligning it with approved and final documents/drawings.
• As-Built Updates:
• Update existing documents for "As-Built" corrections based on feedback from Quality Management (QM) or Production teams.
• BOM Creation:
• Create the Bill of Materials (BOM) for instrumentation and electrical equipment
•    Vendor & Supplier Coordintion: Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate cost inputs and negotiate favourable terms for project bids.

Required Competencies and Skills:

• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of Cables/Cable Glands and their applications.
• Knowledge of Motors, Control Panels, VFD, Junction Boxes, and Instruments.
• Familiarity with various industry standards such as API, VDI, ASTM, HIS, DIN, IEC, etc.
• Project Execution & Instrumentation Exposure:
• Experience in Project Instrumentation and hands-on exposure to instrumentation system execution.
• Technical Tools & Software:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, E-Plan, and MS Office for documentation and design purposes.
