Job Summary: The Service Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end technical execution at site — from product demonstration to audit, installation, rectification, and post-installation support. The role ensures proper functioning of the system and customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Demonstration

• Conduct technical demonstrations at customer sites
• Explain product working, benefits, and application suitability
• Support sales team in converting prospects

2. Electrical Audit

• Perform site electrical audit before installation
• Assess load conditions, wiring quality, earthing status, and safety risks
• Identify required rectifications and submit audit report

3. Installation & Commissioning

• Execute proper installation and commissioning of the device
• Ensure all connections, protections, and settings are correctly configured
• Coordinate with customer and internal teams for smooth deployment

4. Site Rectification

• Carry out or supervise electrical rectification work as per audit findings
• Ensure site is compliant for safe and effective operation
• Guide electricians/contractors where required

5. After Sales Service

• Attend service calls and resolve technical issues promptly
• Diagnose faults and ensure minimal downtime
• Maintain service records and update status regularly

6. AMC / CMC Support

• Perform preventive maintenance visits under AMC/CMC
• Ensure system health, calibration, and performance checks
• Maintain long-term customer relationship and service quality

Key Requirements:

Degree / Diploma / ITI - in 'Electrical Engineering' or equivalent

• Hands-on experience in electrical installation and troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of wiring systems, load management, and safety practices
• Willingness for field work and travel
• Problem-solving attitude with customer-focused approach

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Number of successful installations & audits completed
• Service response and resolution time
• Quality of installation (error-free commissioning)
• Customer satisfaction and repeat service quality
• AMC/CMC execution efficiency

Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Service Manager / Team Leader
• Coordinates with: Sales Team, Accounts, and Logistics

Role Objective (Core Focus):

• Ensure technically correct installation, reliable performance, and continuous service support.
• Deliver a seamless customer experience from first interaction to long-term maintenance.
