Job Title: Solar Electrician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Solar Electrician to install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with electrical systems, solar panels, inverters, and related components. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities -

• Installation & Setup Install solar PV systems, including panels, mounting structures, electrical wiring, and inverters.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and electrical routing.
• Configure and integrate solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure proper grounding, bonding, and circuit protection for all installations.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting Diagnose and repair issues in solar panels, inverters, wiring, and electrical components.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of solar systems.
• Test system performance and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Replace defective components and update outdated systems as needed.
• Safety & Compliance Follow all local electrical codes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Use appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working environment on rooftops and job sites.
• Prepare documentation including service reports, installation records, and compliance forms.

• Qualifications & Skills
• Certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrician Training, or equivalent.
• Valid electrician license (where required).
• Experience with solar PV installation and electrical work.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, circuit protection, and power systems.
• Knowledge of solar inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and monitoring systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
