Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior / Head Fabrication Engineer to lead our fabrication unit for Electrical LT Panel manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end fabrication operations—managing manpower, optimizing production, ensuring quality, coordinating with clients, and driving business growth. This role requires strong technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills, along with hands-on experience in fiber laser cutting, CNC machine operations, sheet metal bending, industrial fabrication, and powder coating.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication and assembly operations for LT panels and sheet metal components.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee fabrication processes—fiber laser cutting, CNC machining, bending, welding, and finishing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and production timelines.
• Lead a team of fabricators, operators, and production staff; manage manpower allocation and training.
• Coordinate with the design, electrical, and production departments for smooth workflow and project execution.
• Review AutoCAD 2D drawings and interpret fabrication designs; 3D design proficiency is an added advantage.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and tools, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
• Interact with clients for project updates, design clarifications, and post-delivery support.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Contribute to business growth by supporting quotations, new project development, and vendor/customer relationships.

         Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in fiber laser cutting, CNC machines, sheet metal fabrication, and powder coating processes.
• Sound understanding of fabrication for electrical LT panel enclosures and industrial sheet metal products.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of 3D design software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) is preferable.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong client-handling and communication abilities.
