Factory Manager

Role OverviewThe Factory Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the Art Therapy production facility — including labour management, material procurement, inventory planning, and ensuring timely dispatch of orders.

This role ensures smooth workflow, discipline, and production quality at all times.

• Key Responsibilities1. Factory Operations ManagementSupervise daily factory activities and ensure work is completed on time.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and productivity in all departments.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and workstations are maintained properly.
• Monitor the entire workflow from printing → cutting → packaging → dispatch.
• 2. Bill of Material & ProcurementPrepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for all painting kits and production batches.
• Maintain and track stock levels for canvas, paints, brushes, tubes, packaging, labels, etc.
• Raise timely purchase requests and coordinate with vendors.
• Track material usage and reduce wastage.
• 3. Labour ManagementManage labour attendance, task allocation, and daily performance.
• Train workers on process improvements and quality standards.
• Ensure smooth coordination among packaging, printing, and dispatch teams.
• Handle basic discipline issues professionally.
• 4. Machine Operation (Training Provided)Operate and manage the HP Latex 630 printer (training will be given).
• Maintain basic machine hygiene, daily checks, and output logs.
• Ensure print requirements are completed in time for dispatch.
• 5. Order Packing & Timely DispatchEnsure all orders are packed according to Art Therapy standards.
• Achieve daily dispatch targets with zero delays.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager & courier partners.
• Verify SKU correctness, canvas quality, and item completeness before dispatch.
• 6. Inventory & ReportingMaintain raw material and finished goods stock registers.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on production and dispatch.
• Track pending orders, shortages, and material movement.
• Requirements1–3 years experience in factory operations/production (preferred).
• Strong leadership, coordination, and management abilities.
• Comfortable managing labour teams.
• Basic knowledge of inventory, operations, and reporting.
• Willingness to learn machine operation (training provided).
