Job Description – Business Development Executive (BDE) / Business Development Manager (BDM)

Company: ProMunim of India Location: Pune / Onsite / Experience:

 BDE: 1–3 years

 BDM: 3–7 years Industry: Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Professional Services

Role Objective

To drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for ProMunim of India by acquiring clients for accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, compliance, payroll, and allied professional services, through consultative and target-driven sales.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue

 Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

 Identify, qualify, and convert new B2B clients

 Sell ProMunim’s services through consultative selling

 Build and manage a strong sales pipeline

 Negotiate commercials and close deals independently

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

 Generate leads through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking

 Handle inbound leads and convert them into paying clients

 Identify ideal customer profiles (SMEs, start-ups, corporates)

 Maintain accurate records in CRM

Client Relationship Management

 Build long-term relationships with clients

 Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions

 Coordinate with internal teams for smooth on boarding

 Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business

Market & Competitor Intelligence

 Track market trends, pricing, and competitor offerings

 Provide inputs for service positioning and sales strategy

 Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities

Reporting & Discipline

 Daily/weekly sales activity reporting

 Forecast revenue and pipeline accurately

 Maintain documentation and compliance with internal processes

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 Revenue achieved vs target

 Number of new clients acquired

 Lead-to-conversion ratio

 Average deal size

 Sales cycle time

 Client retention / repeat business

Required Skills & Competencies

Must-Have

 Proven experience in target-based B2B sales

 Strong negotiation & closing skills

 Excellent communication & presentation skills

 Ability to sell services (not just products)

 Hunger to achieve targets and earn incentives

Preferred

 Experience in accounting, finance, CA firms, compliance services

 Knowledge of Indian business compliance landscape

 CRM experience (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)

Education

 Graduate / MBA (Sales & Marketing preferred)
