Responsible for providing service for commissioning, troubleshooting and helping our customers and contractors maintain our equipment in the field and through phone support. In addition to the responsibilities below, this position requires a highly motivated individual who is driven by process compliance and continuous improvement to effectively serve our customers.

• Commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting Vilter industrial refrigeration compressors and natural gas compressors equipment mainly in the United States with opportunities to work globally.

• Coordinate and execute preventative maintenance and warranty work, including but not limited to oil filter changes, oil changes, compressor inspections and repairs, instrument replacement and controls repairs.

• Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for customers via phone and email.

• Understand and optimize system operational parameters for gas and refrigeration applications.

• Conduct/participate in technical training for Copeland and Vilter equipment

• Work with and assist the Sales and Business Development teams where possible

• Participate in joint sales calls with other Copeland team members when needed.

• Become a trusted advisor for customer technical inquiries.

• Complete reports and administrative paperwork for service trips.

• Collaborate with engineering and quality to report findings in the field and improve products.
