Introduction: 

Ecolab is seeking a Billing Supervisor supporting our Global Business Services team in Pune, India. This role will operate in a US shift.  

 

The primary objectives of this role are to oversee the teams responsible for the Ecolab standard billing processes for the multiple divisions and functions.  Sox and other control adherence and monitoring is critical to ensure accurate revenue reportingInvoicing including credit processing, pricing and promotions maintenance are key tasksThis role creates, manages, and holds the team accountable to process KPIs and service level agreements, identifies, leads, and manages process improvement projects and other company initiatives.   

 

This position has a high level of responsibility partnering with key business leaders and internal processing teams and audit partners to ensure all details related to invoicing and pricing are addressedThe Billing Supervisor is expected to embrace the Ecolab culture, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure our business partners and customers expectations are being met.

What You Will Do:  

  • Effectively manages the team to consistently deliver timely high-quality results that meet or exceed expectations  

  • Provide expert insight into billing processes operational effectiveness  

  • Partner with business/internal teams on complex issues or special projects as needed 

  • Establish strong working relationships with division finance and CBC peers 

  • Perform problem solving analysis and implement corrective action when needed  

  • Compile and publish monthly activity tracking reporting 

  • Provide prompt follow-up actions to internal and external inquiries and issues  

  • Respond timely to incoming communications   

  • Build out extensive billing operational knowledge  

  • Adhere to company and department policies and procedures 

  • Sox and other control adherence and monitoring Uses sound judgment in decisions and interactions 

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field 

  • Master’s Degree strongly preferred 

  • A minimum of 6 years of related experience  

  • Experience managing a team 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application Excel 

  • Fluent in English 

  • SAP knowledge is must.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment  

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability to resolve problems independently and take appropriate action in a timely manner  

  • Previous analytical experience with high aptitude for research, analysis, and problem-solving

  • Experience manipulating data sets and data mergers 

  • Proven ability to communicate professionally with customers. both verbal and written 

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, anticipate needs and meet customer expectations
