Fitter Technician

1. Assembly of Pumps & Equipment

o Perform mechanical assembly of pumps and related components as per

drawings and SOPs.

o Fit, align, and assemble parts using hand tools and machinery.

o Ensure proper tightening, alignment, and accuracy during assembly.

2. Operation & Testing

o Operate pump systems during testing and trial runs.

o Identify operational issues and support rectification.

o Assist in performance testing and functional checks.

3. Maintenance & Repair

o Perform routine inspection of tools, machines, and assembly equipment.

o Support in troubleshooting mechanical faults during assembly or operation.

4. Quality & Safety

o Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and specifications.

o Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working area.

o Report deviations or defects to the supervisor.

5. 5S & Workplace Cleanliness

o Maintain workplace cleanliness as per 5S standards

o Ensure regular cleaning of work area, tools, and equipment.

o Support continuous improvement in maintaining an organized and efficient

workspace.

6. Documentation & Reporting

o Maintain assembly checklists and daily activity reports.

o Record material usage and inform shortages on time.
