This role involves supervising staff, monitoring processes, and ensuring that all food items meet safety and quality standards before reaching consumers.Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene standards across operations.Conduct regular inspections and audits of the kitchen, storage, preparation, and serving areas.Ensure compliance with relevant food safety laws, regulations, and standards.Develop, implement, and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food handling, storage, cooking, and serving.Train and supervise kitchen/food service staff on hygiene practices, personal hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling.Oversee cleaning schedules, pest control, waste management, and cleaning of equipment/utensils.Manage records related to food safety checks, temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and audit reports.Report violations/concerns to management and take corrective actions.Coordinate with the internal quality assurance team and external regulatory bodies (if applicable).Ensure proper labelling, storage, and disposal of perishable items.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
