5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform administration Strong hands-on experience with: Compute Engine Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Cloud Storage VPC networking IAM Experience with Linux-based systems Knowledge of cloud security best practices Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build, etc.) Exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting tools Administer and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and GKE Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging Manage IAM roles, permissions, service accounts, and security policies Implement and maintain networking components such as VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and interconnects Perform backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and performance issues Optimize cloud costs using billing reports, budgets, and cost control mechanisms Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Deployment Manager) Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps and application teams
