Job Description
- 1. Daily Cleaning DutiesSweep, mop, and vacuum all floors (reception, operatories, washrooms, staff areas).
- Clean and disinfect all surfaces including tables, counters, and handles.
- Empty and sanitize dustbins regularly.
- Clean glass doors, windows, and mirrors.
- Maintain washrooms (clean toilet, sink, refill tissue, soap, and air freshener).
- 2. Clinic/Office MaintenanceEnsure all areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist in basic maintenance work like reporting water leakage, light issues, or equipment malfunction.
- Maintain cleanliness around the clinic premises (entrance and parking area).
- 3. Disinfection and SafetyFollow infection control and sanitization protocols, especially in clinical areas.
- Dispose of biomedical and general waste in the correct bins as per guidelines.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
- 4. Stock ManagementKeep track of housekeeping materials (phenyl, mop, broom, tissue, garbage bags, etc.).
- Inform the manager/receptionist when stock is low.
- Avoid wastage of cleaning materials.
- 5. Support DutiesAssist in serving water, tea, or coffee to patients or staff when required.
- Help in setting up rooms or equipment when requested by staff.
- Maintain cleanliness in staff pantry and utility area.
- 6. Hygiene and ConductMaintain personal hygiene and wear clean uniform daily.
- Be punctual and follow the duty schedule.
- Follow instructions from the clinic manager or in-charge.
- Maintain polite and professional behavior with patients and staff.
