Job Description

HR Generalist

Job Purpose

The HR Generalist is responsible for managing end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, HRMS administration, training coordination, payroll support, and grievance handling. The role supports the HR function to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes and a positive work environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Drive full-cycle recruitment for staff/associate roles.
  • Manage sourcing, screening, assessments, interviews & selection workflows.
  • Draft JDs, coordinate interview schedules & ensure SLA adherence.
  • Execute onboarding, documentation & BGV compliance.

HR Operations & HRMS

  • Administer employee lifecycle transactions in HRMS/SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Manage onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers & exit workflows.
  • Monitor 30-60-90 day assimilation framework for new hires.
  • Ensure HR policy adherence & statutory compliance.

Employee Engagement

  • Execute engagement interventions (town halls, R&R, cultural/CSR events).
  • Drive internal communication & employee experience initiatives.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate KPI/KRA goal-setting & appraisal cycles (mid-year/year-end).
  • Support managers with evaluation governance & timeline compliance.

Training & Development

  • Conduct TNA & competency mapping.
  • Coordinate internal/external L&D programs & maintain training MIS.
  • Track training hours, effectiveness & audit readiness.

Payroll & Compensation

  • Provide monthly payroll inputs (attendance, shifts, leave, C&B changes).
  • Support payroll processing & resolve employee compensation queries.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Generate dashboards/MIS on attrition, hiring, training, headcount, attendance.
  • Utilize SAP HRMS/Excel/Power BI for analytics & trend reporting.

Grievance Handling

  • Address employee grievances with confidentiality & policy alignment.
  • Support ER/disciplinary procedures as per compliance norms.

 

Education and Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.
  • SAP Sucess factor
