Job Description:

Position Overview

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, performance management, training & development, and creating a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to fill vacant positions on time.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate with department heads.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new hires.

2. Employee Relations

  • Address employee grievances and manage conflict resolution.
  • Foster a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives.

3. Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Supervise attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll inputs.
  • Liaise with Finance for accurate and timely salary processing.

4. Performance Management

  • Manage the performance appraisal process (KRA/KPI setting).
  • Assist managers in performance reviews and employee development plans.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and plan training programs.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives to support career growth.

6. HR MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain HR records, employee data, and HR MIS reports.
  • Prepare dashboards for management (attrition, hiring status, training records, etc.).

7. Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Support talent retention and succession planning.
  • Contribute to organizational development and culture-building strategies.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of HR experience (depending on company level).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software (HRMS) and MS Office.
