Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Experience: 2-3 Years
About Sustainfy Energy :
Sustainfy Energy which has been pioneering in the testing and inspection activities of the Solar PV industry for more than 6 years and till date working with 4.5 GW+ solar power plants due diligence, RCA,design & engineering, testing, inspection and now entering into Asset Management (O&M). Sustainfy Energy equipped with the set of Instruments and expertise required during the Onsite performance evaluation of the solar power plant as well as the individual main components of the solar asset like Solar Panels, Inverter, cables etc.
Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR Generalist with 1-2 years of experience to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who can support various HR functions, contribute to a positive employee experience, and help drive our HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding Support:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting preliminary interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Maintain and update recruitment trackers and databases.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
- Assist in resolving basic employee relations issues, escalating complex matters to senior HR management.
- Support initiatives aimed at boosting employee morale, engagement, and retention (e.g., employee events, communication).
- HR Administration & Compliance:Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (both physical and digital) in compliance with company policies and Indian labor laws.
- Prepare HR-related documents, letters, and reports (e.g., offer letters, appointment letters, experience letters, warning letters).
- Assist with HR compliance activities, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESIC, professional tax, gratuity).
- Manage attendance and leave records, and assist with payroll input data.
- Performance Management Support:Assist in the coordination and tracking of performance reviews.
- Support the implementation of performance improvement plans as needed.
- Training & Development Support:Help identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
- Maintain training records and effectiveness metrics.
- Policy Implementation:Communicate and explain HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Support the implementation of new or revised HR policies.
- HRIS Management:Assist in maintaining and updating data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus.
- 2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role, preferably within industry of engineering services, power sector, solar , renewable sector .
- Solid understanding of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Indian labor laws and statutory compliances (e.g., PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops and Establishments Act).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS software is an advantage.
