Hydraulics Design Engineer

Position title: Hydraulic Design Engineer - Hydraulics & Structural Mechanics

Superior’s position: Senior Manager, Hydraulics & Structural Mechanics

Major responsibilities:

1. Carrying out design of new hydraulic parts using firmware & commercial CAD + CFD packages.

2. Execution and result analysis of defined predevelopment projects.

3. Carry out design & construction of pumps under guidance, for doing model tests. Prepare test specification.

4. Witness model pump tests and analyse results.

5. Proposing Project Processing Specification, and reports for entrusted projects.

6. Advising product development engineers on hydraulic performance issues.

7. Creating application specific computer aided calculation programs for use of other department engineers.

8. Working under full or partial guidance.

Requirement profile:

Formal education: Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.

(Preferably Fluid power, turbo machinery, heat & power)

Professional experience: 1 – 3 years, including 1 year on specific job

Defined competencies: Fundamental knowledge of hydraulics, turbo machinery & CFD

Experience with UG/NX or similar CAD tools

Experience with CFX or similar CFD packages

Computer programming knowledge is preferred

Behavioural Skills: Good communication skills

High analytical skills
