Job Summary

The In-House Architect will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing architectural aspects of real estate development projects. The role involves working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and management to ensure projects are designed efficiently, comply with regulations, and align with the company’s development vision.

The architect will manage design development, approvals, coordination, and execution from concept stage to project completion.

Key Responsibilities1.

Architectural Design & Planning·      Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

·      Prepare concept designs, schematic drawings, and

detailed architectural drawings.

·      Ensure designs align with project feasibility, company vision, and market demand.

Project Coordination·      Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and interior

consultants.

·      Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and contractors.

·      Review consultant drawings and ensure design integration.

3.

Approvals & Compliance·      Handle local authority approvals and

documentation.

·      Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and

statutory requirements.

·      Liaise with government authorities and approval agencies.

4.

Construction Support·      Review shop drawings and construction drawings.

·      Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation.

Design Quality Control·      Maintain high architectural quality standards.

·      Ensure efficient space planning and cost-effective design solutions.

·      Monitor design changes and maintain updated drawings.

6.

Documentation·      Prepare architectural presentations, reports, and design documentation.

·      Maintain drawing records and revision logs.

·      Support tender documentation and BOQ coordination.

Requirements

Education·      Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized university.

·      AutoCAD, SketchUp / Revit / BIM, Experience with 3D visualization tools, building materials and

construction techniques

Experience·      Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design.

·      Experience in real estate developer companies preferred.

·      Experience handling large residential or commercial projects is an advantage.
