Job Description
Job Title: In-Process Quality EngineerLocation: Varroc Engineering Ltd., Mahalunge
Industry: Automotive – Plastic Injection Moulding
- Key Responsibilities (In-Process Focus):Ensure in-process quality control for plastic injection moulded components on shopfloor
- Conduct patrol inspections and ensure process adherence as per control plan
- Monitor moulding parameters and verify process stability during production
- Identify, analyze, and control moulding defects (short shot, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, flow lines)
- Perform first-off / last-off inspection and setting approval
- Implement and monitor SPC & control charts
- Carry out root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) for in-process issues and rejections
- Coordinate with production, tool room, and maintenance teams for defect containment
- Maintain in-process inspection records, rejection data, and traceability
- Support PFMEA & Control Plan updates related to process issues
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements at shopfloor level
