Inside Sales Executive

Key responsibilities:

Engineering Sales Executive responsible for handling online site portals.

Receiving customer enquiries, preparing and submitting technical & commercial quotations.

Ensuring consistent follow-up to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

The role requires coordination between customers, engineering, and internal teams.

1. Conduct regular visits to customer sites for sales, support, and follow-up outstation to cement plants, power plants , glass plants, steel plants.

2. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders

3. Act as the face of the company during site interactions, maintaining a professional and solution-oriented approach.

4. Understand client needs through site assessments and propose technically sound, customized solutions

5. Provide technical presentations, product demos, or hands-on trials to support sales discussions.

6.Handle site portals / B2B portals (Indiamart, TradeIndia, company website, tender portals, etc.)

7.Receive, analyze, and register customer enquiries from portals, emails, and phone calls

8.Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the engineering team for technical inputs

9.Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations

10.Maintain daily follow-up with clients via phone, email, and WhatsApp until order closure

11.Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms within company guidelines

12.Track enquiry status from initial lead to order confirmation

13.Maintain CRM / enquiry tracking records and regular sales reports

14.Coordinate with design, production, and dispatch teams post order finalization

15.Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

16.Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
