JOB DESCRIPTION 

Title: Junior Business Analyst 

Role Statement

The Data Analytics Junior Specialist is responsible for define and create BI Data Model and Reporting. This involves the entire Data Stream from its creation in the final Analytics definition and creation.

The  Reporting and Analytics Specialist is part of the Reporting and Analytics team. 

He/she will ensure the data integrity in BI system to support Vertiv standard and management reporting.

Key Duties 

• Collect and document business requirements and data visibility needs 
• Build strong relationships with the business in support of key business programs 
• Provide governance and enforce BI Standards as required
• Test and reconcile BI and Reporting deliverables including Data Warehouse, Reports and Dashboard 
• Leads the analysis and reconciliation of data 
• Identify opportunities to use data in support of decisions to improve business performance
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams.
• Train key BI & Reporting consumers in the various elements of Data Analytics team toolsets
• Provide support and resolve trouble tickets as needed

Job Requirements

• University degree 
• 3-5 years in equivalent roles as BI & Reporting Business Analyst in structured multinational business
• Self-disciplined detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills required

Basic skills

• Fluent English is a must
• Experience with business intelligence applications 
• Experience in Microsoft Power BI , knowledge of DAX language
• Experience with data analysis, data modelling and data warehouse
• Used to working to tight deadlines
• Able to prioritize tasks
• High energy
• A strong communicator with the ability to transform a user’s reporting vision and requirements into a BI and Reporting solution. 
• Understanding the business objects within a manufacturing and service company
• Have functional knowledge in an ERP System (preferable Oracle eBusiness Suite)
• Understand and been able to write SQL statements
