IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer

Role SummaryLooking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer who can manage and maintain the company’s complete IT systems including hardware, network, security, and data infrastructure. The candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the company’s IT environment and ensure secure, reliable, and well-documented systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hardware & Asset ManagementManage office computers, laptops, and IT equipment

• Install and configure OS, drivers, and system updates
• Maintain IT asset inventory and device records
• Handle hardware setup, repairs, and procurement

2. System AdministrationConfigure operating systems and software environments

• Manage Active Directory / Azure AD and user access
• Implement standard system configurations
• Maintain IT documentation and SOPs

3. Data Backup & StorageImplement data backup and recovery systems

• Manage cloud storage or NAS solutions
• Ensure secure data storage and structured file management

4. Network InfrastructureManage LAN, WiFi, routers, switches, and firewalls

• Configure DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN
• Monitor network performance and connectivity

5. CybersecurityImplement endpoint security and antivirus

• Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Maintain password policies and access control
• Monitor security logs and system alerts

6. Monitoring & ReportingTrack system performance and device health

• Create IT status reports for management
• Monitor security incidents and backup success
• Required SkillsWindows / macOS / Linux administration
• Networking (LAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP)
• Active Directory / Azure AD
• Firewall & VPN configuration
• Data backup and recovery
• IT asset management and troubleshooting

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field

• 1–2 years experience in IT infrastructure or system administration
• Certifications preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft
• Nice to HaveCloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration
• Startup or SME IT environment experience
