Job Description
Job Purpose:
To perform mechanical assembly of DG sets, including engine-alternator coupling, base frame mounting,
canopy fitting, and QC checks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engine & alternator alignment
• Coupling installation and alignment check
• Base frame and anti-vibration mounting
• Fuel tank and exhaust system installation
• Radiator & cooling system fitting
• Torque tightening as per specification
• Stage-wise quality inspection
• Assist in load testing preparation
• Maintain assembly checklist & production records
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of hand tools & torque wrench
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Understanding of the alignment process
• Basic QC documentation knowledge
