Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop and maintain RESTful services and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Resolve application defects and performance issues through systematic debugging and optimization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and UI/UX.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality benchmarks.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed modules, features, and integrations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–6+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development (adjust as necessary).
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming concepts, exception handling, collections, and multithreading.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
• Solid understanding of Hibernate/JPA for ORM-based data access.
• Strong command of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with build and version control tools such as Maven/Gradle and Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is preferred.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.
