Job Description:

As a Java Developer at Meadowsweet Organics LLP, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that align with our business needs. This role is open to both freshers and experienced candidates who have a passion for coding and a strong understanding of Java programming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements.

- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and ensure optimal performance.

- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements to existing systems.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software development processes.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development.

- Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the company’s IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:

For Freshers:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong foundational knowledge of Java programming language.

- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.

- Basic understanding of databases and SQL.

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

For Experienced Candidates:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 1-3+ years of experience in Java development or software engineering.

- Proficiency in Java and a deep understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.

- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JavaFX.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in debugging and optimizing code.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).

- Understanding of software testing principles and frameworks (e.g., JUnit).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Interest or experience in the organic food industry is a plus.
