Job Summary
The Java Developer role at Synechron is focused on developing, testing, and maintaining robust Java applications that address complex business requirements. This position collaborates extensively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery, supports innovation by adopting the latest Java technologies, and directly contributes to process optimization and organizational effectiveness.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in Java programming (with practical experience across Java SE and EE)

  • Hands-on experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts

  • Familiarity with Java development tools including Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, and NetBeans

  • Knowledge of relational database systems, including MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git)

• Preferred:

  • Professional Java certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer)

  • Exposure to additional Java frameworks and build tools (Maven, Gradle)

  • Awareness of secure coding practices

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications and modules for diverse business scenarios

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver software solutions

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code employing OOP principles and design patterns

• Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring rapid turnaround and minimal disruption

• Stay up-to-date with Java technology advancements and contribute to process enhancements

• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions for continuous team improvement

Qualifications
