Job Description
- Maintain and record daily expenses accurately in the accounting system.
- Manage and monitor workshop expenses, including material consumption, repair & maintenance, utilities, and labor-related costs.
- Maintain and update UC (Utilization Certificate) sheets / project-wise cost tracking to ensure proper utilization of funds.
- Assist in payroll management, including attendance verification, salary calculation, deductions, and timely salary processing.
- Handle GST reconciliation, including:
- Matching GSTR-2B with purchase records
- Verifying input tax credit (ITC)
- Assisting in GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
- Manage vendor accounts, including:
- Vendor onboarding and documentation
- Invoice verification
- Payment follow-ups and reconciliation
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountant (CA) for:
- GST filings
- TDS compliance
- Statutory audits and financial reporting
- Maintain purchase, sales, and expense vouchers with proper supporting documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
- Track project-wise income and expenditure for manufacturing and IDEX-related projects.
- Support in inventory accounting, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Maintain fixed asset records and assist in depreciation calculations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS, GST, PF, and ESIC (if applicable).
- Assist in preparation of monthly MIS reports, cost statements, and management reports.
- Support internal audits and respond to audit queries.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for financial and project-related data.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams for expense control and financial clarity.
- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
