Job Description

Job Description: Jr. Architect Position Overview, Junior Architect (Jr. Architect) supports the design and development of architectural projects under the supervision of senior architects or project managers. This role involves assisting in design preparation, drafting, documentation, coordination, and site support to ensure projects meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and design objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Drafting

  • Assist in preparing architectural designs, concepts, and presentations.
  • Develop detailed drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models.
  • Modify and revise drawings based on feedback from senior architects or clients.
  • Ensure design documents comply with local building codes and regulations.


2. Project Documentation

  • Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Assist in preparing project reports, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material specifications.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.


3. Coordination

  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding materials and finishes.
  • Participate in client meetings and record meeting minutes when required.


4. Site Support

  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.
  • Assist in resolving on-site technical issues.
  • Ensure work on site aligns with approved drawings and specifications.


5. Research & Development

  • Research materials, construction methods, and design trends.
  • Support sustainability and innovative design initiatives.


6.Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may apply).
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of building codes and construction processes.
  • Strong design, drafting, and visualization skills.
