Junior Architect

The Junior Architect shall be responsible for design development, preparation of interior and finishing drawings, and on-site supervision of execution to ensure works are carried out strictly as per approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

• Key Responsibilities1. Design & Drawing ResponsibilitiesPrepare interior layout plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, and sections.
• Develop detailed finishing drawings for wall treatments, flooring, ceilings, joinery, wardrobes, kitchens, and toilets.
• Prepare material specifications, finish schedules, and sample boards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure design compatibility.
• Update drawings as per site requirements and approvals, maintaining revision control.
• 2. Interior & Finishing SOP – Execution SupportEnsure all interior and finishing works are executed strictly as per approved drawings, mockups, and material samples.
• Conduct regular site visits to supervise workmanship quality for:
• 
  
• Flooring and tiling works
• False ceiling and partitions
• Carpentry and modular works
• Painting, polishing, and wall finishes
• Sanitary, fixtures, and accessories placement
• Issue site instructions and clarification sketches when required.
• 3. Quality Control & ApprovalsCheck materials delivered at site against approved specifications and samples.
• Approve workmanship stages and mockups prior to bulk execution.
• Identify deviations or quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with design intent, aesthetics, and functionality.
• 4. Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and site engineers for smooth execution.
• Attend site meetings and provide design clarifications.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for material finalization and lead times.
• Support senior architects in client presentations and approvals.
• 5. Documentation & ReportingMaintain records of drawings, approvals, samples, and site observations.
• Prepare site inspection reports and progress updates.
