Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking kitchen helper to join our team. The kitchen helper will assist in basic food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the kitchen staff in daily operations. The ideal candidate should be reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for food service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out the trash.

Store food items properly and ensure ingredients are readily available for cooking.

Help in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies and kitchen equipment.

Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are clean and properly stored.

Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Assist in setting up and organizing kitchen stations before and after service.

Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or chef.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a kitchen helper or in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Good physical stamina; ability to lift and carry heavy items.

Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
