Laptop Service Technician

Job Title: Field Technician – Buyback Laptop TechnicianJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and responsible Field Technician – Buyback Laptop Technician to inspect, diagnose, and evaluate used laptops at partner retail stores. The technician will coordinate with store managers to support and grow buyback business, assess device quality using a mobile application, and ensure timely dispatch of collected units to the Head Office.

• Key ResponsibilitiesVisit assigned retail stores to perform buyback laptop inspections
• Check laptop functionality, physical condition, and specifications
• Diagnose hardware and basic software issues accurately
• Use the company app to assess devices and generate real-time pricing
• Clearly explain evaluation results and pricing to store managers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers to grow buyback volumes
• Ensure proper documentation and tagging of collected units
• Pack and dispatch collected laptops to the Head Office in a timely manner
• Follow company quality standards, processes, and timelines
• Report daily activities, collections, and issues through the system
• Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / ITI / Graduate in IT, Electronics, or related field preferred
• Experience in laptop repair, diagnostics, or device buyback operations
• Strong knowledge of laptop hardware, configurations, and common issues
• Ability to use mobile applications and basic digital tools
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel to multiple store locations
• Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler license (as applicable)
