Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain lathe machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate should have experience working with manual and/or CNC lathe machines and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate lathe machines (manual or CNC) to perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and other machining operations.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Make necessary machine adjustments and tool changes to maintain product quality.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on machines and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Ensure workplace safety by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and wearing proper protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Record production data and complete necessary documentation for quality control.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a lathe machine operator (manual or CNC).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
• Basic knowledge of machine shop mathematics and machining principles.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Physically able to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
