Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities : Ø Administers and monitors underwriting rules and guidelines, rating manual rules, and insurance laws and regulations across the policy value chain (New Business, Changes etc.).Ø Collaborate with underwriters to establish target dates and communicate coverage recommendations.Ø Responsible to include account set-up, quoting, proposals, policy issuance, policy administration requests, renewal policies and account service.Ø Provide timely and accurate response to assigned internal and external customers to include service requests from producers, agencies, subsidiaries, and others to support the growth and retention of business.Ø Manage queries of the team members and provide subject matter expertise whenever and wherever requiredØ Responsible to manage the client feedback mailbox and taking necessary actions per agreed proceduresØ Document, maintain unit procedures & communicate process updates to team and check for understanding by running quiz/questionnaire sessionsØ Create and manage the process knowledge test on a monthly basis and adhoc as requiredØ Responsible for team quality performanceØ Support supervisor in managing day to day queues and SLAsØ Support managing escalations calls in absence of supervisorsØ Provide inputs to the supervisor/management as required on the process related informationØ Work closely with the team manager to meet team’s and process overall goalsØ Train the new hires on processØ Support quality audits as an when necessaryØ Listen to the team members calls and provide them feedback on process as well customer experience. This is beyond the quality audits performed by QA. Ø Contribute Brainwave Ideas to improve the processØ Communication with clients as and when neededØ Attend all the development trainings that are identified by Supervisors• Willingness to work in shifts Skills required : Ø Experience in property & casualty insurance underwriting, customer interaction is must Ø Strong process knowledge of underwriting functions and client systems and proceduresØ Proven ability to manage queries while being courteous and professional in mannerØ Solutions mind-set, helping nature, passion for the customer and the customer experienceØ Ability to adapt self with the team in-case of adversity, business challenges/requirementØ Has the ability to demonstrate working in a positive and fulfilling work environment with minimal supervisionØ Good Communication skills – verbal and written. Fluent proficiency & comprehension in English is required on written skills.Ø Strong ability to multi-task while effectively communicating with the customersØ Efficient in internet, computer usage and web-based application skills Ø Interpersonal skills Ø Eye for Detail
Qualifications
