Logistics Officer
Job Summary:
To manage the receipt, inspection, documentation, and ERP entry of incoming goods and materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for smooth inventory and Inward processes.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Bill of Entry Preparation
Accurately prepare Bill of Entry for imported goods as per customs regulations in ERP system
Ensure correct HS codes, invoice values, and duty calculations.
Material Receipt & Verification
Receive incoming goods and verify them against purchase orders and delivery challans.
Inspect quantity, coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team, and assess the physical condition of materials.
Coordinate unloading and initial inspections with relevant teams.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and ensure accurate entry into ERP systems.
Maintain inward registers and systematically file delivery documents.
Inventory Support
Accurately enter serial numbers and ensure proper tagging of materials in the ERP system.
Handle day-to-day inventory transactions with precision.
Assist in stock reconciliation and periodic cycle counts.
Monitor reports related to inward material and address any delays or issues promptly.
Internal Communication
Collaborate effectively with procurement, production, and stores teams to ensure smooth operational workflows.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information promptly.
Who You Are:
For This Role, You Will Need:
Experience in Inward process, Bill of Entry preparation and ERP systems (Oracle).
Good communication and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree with experience in logistics with minimum 4 years of experience.
