Job Description:

HVAC TechnicianRole Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our Infrastructure Development team. This role is essential for the repair, maintenance, and reliable operation of critical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that support our R&D and testing activities.

• 1. Core Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair: Perform comprehensive repair and maintenance of diverse HVAC equipment, including Chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), Pumps, Blowers, VRF systems, and ductable AC units.
• Operational Support: Assist regular technicians in a support team capacity to ensure efficient and timely service across multiple locations.
• System Reliability: Focus on enhancing the reliability of HVAC systems critical for sensitive R&D and testing environments.
• Breakdown Response: Improve response times for equipment breakdowns and conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• 2. Minimum QualificationsEducation: Must have an ITI and NCTVT (NTC) certification in the RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) trade.
• Stream: Specialized in the Mechanical stream.
• 3. Experience RequirementsDuration: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the automotive or industrial HVAC sector.
• Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in troubleshooting and servicing industrial-grade cooling and ventilation hardware (specifically Chillers and VRF systems).
• 4. Preferred Skills & AttributesAbility to work effectively in a team-based environment to meet project deadlines.
• Strong understanding of technical parameters and maintenance logs for critical infrastructure.
• Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks across various site locations.
